Hotels in Indonesia have been graded:
- Tax negotiation
- Planning bank interest loan restructuring
- Stop using daily workers
- Applying unpaid leave for some employees
- Using employee's service charge to cover operational costs
Hotels need Online Travel Agent, but Online Travel Agent needs hotels as well as selling objects. Without hotels, OTA has no products to sell.
However, I also understand that the demand for decreasing commissions is followed by the attitude of the hotels whose commissions have been reduced to maintain parity between OTAs and dare to take firm action against OTAs that carry out disparities.
